Albert lived a full and happy life, devoted to his wife Lilian for the 62 years of their marriage & his four children, who were the centre of his world. The sea was a huge part of his life; carrying him from Burma to England as a child and safely through WWII. In his final years Albert watched with fascination as the Bembridge Lifeboat Station was rebuilt. He would have thoroughly approved of donations towards the work of the RNLI.
